I like this book more than the Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment by LaCharity because the rationales are easier to read and Davis gives rationales for the wrong answers too. It also gives you critical thinking strategies to help you figure out how to break down an NCLEX question. Our instructor advised us to get this book to help us study for our Collaborative nursing class. This book helps guide thinking when answering NCLEX-type questions. Our Collaborative exams have a lot of prioritization and delegation type questions. I keep a notebook handy when doing these questions to keep track of drugs, diagnoses, and procedures I am either unfamiliar with or need a refresher on. I haven't used the CD yet, but I plan to continue using this book and CD (along with a Kaplan book and the LaCharity book I mentioned) to study for the NCLEX. I graduate in December and plan on taking it the first chance I get. Our nursing school now uses ATI to determine what areas we should focus on, so whenever I do take the NCLEX it will be hard to know which study materials helped the most. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that it does not give as good of an overview of what NCLEX will be like as Kaplan does. The Kaplan study book also comes with a DVD that tells you the rules of NCLEX and goes into great depth about breaking down questions and answers. Since I haven't taken NCLEX, I'm not sure whether the questions in this study guide are difficult enough to prep nursing students for NCLEX. Maybe I'll come back in January after I test to review all of the study materials I bought.
This has great NCLEX questions for school, but not a good resource for those prepping for the real exam.... In all actuality, prioritization, delegation, and management issues are learned over time. This book has good rationales along with some good questions for the student nurse. I recommend the entire Davis's Success series for school purposes only.

Bought this for my daughter when she was in school to become an RN. She said it was helpful, she graduated and got her license so I guess it worked.
Great Rationales in back; would highly recommend if you are in nursing school. I am in my RN year and use in to study for exams and will use before sitting for NCLEX.
Good and nice study material for leadership in nrsing
This is a great book. Although it was required for a class and I did not have an option to buy an alternative it was very informational and easy to read.
