Once again, Julie Trettel writes a wonderful story. I love how Ruby jumps in with both feet not looking back. Her growth through the story is quite evident and makes for a story that flows very well. Bran, oh Bran...he's amazing a true struggle for him protecting Ruby and on his mission to kill Kelsey. He had me on edge through the whole story. He makes you love him even though you don't want him to succeed in his mission.If you love an edge of your seat paranormal romance with a great protagonist and heartbreaking hero I highly recommend checking out In Plain Sight!
Spoiler**********************FYI, I absolutely LOVE this series but this one is Not my favorite......at all. I was expecting some serious let downs, revenge(from Westin Pack), anger, turmoil and more anger(again from Westin and Collier Packs). I mean Bran could have killed Kelsey with the cake coupe, and not to be a spoil sport but Kyle just let's it go? I understand Bran and his part in the story, his was well written. But I was very disappointed with the way Kyle and mostly everyone else handled the truth. His one true mate and mother to his sons was almost killed twice by Bran, I was expecting a much bigger reaction to the truth. He's an alpha wolf shifter for crying out loud! Of course I was hoping for a HEA, but not like that. Bran didn't deserve forgiveness so easily, eventually? Yes.
This was another fantastic book in this amazing series. I absolutely loved everything about this book.

OMG! Ms. Trettel totally raised the bar on herself even, with this amazing new 6 star must read, IMHO! :D I was totally blown away with this fan-freaking-tastic PNR romantic suspense novel that grabbed me from the start & held on tight so that I read it in record time! "In Plain Sight" is the 3rd stand-alone phenomenal story in the Collier Pack world of shifters! I don't know how she comes up with each brand new & different story, relatable characters and fantastic descriptions with some surprise twists & turns, but I know that readers will be just as engaged, glued to their seats and turning pages fast like I did! :D I never write spoilers or recap blurbs, but even tho I always volunteer to read this author's amazing works, it is without any outside influences, and these are my honest feelings! Also, I usually buy most of her books whenever I can, so I can honestly recommend this to all adult 18+ fans of fiction & especially those who love fantasy, PNR and/or shifters! Now I can't wait for more, but of course I will!
Finally! Find out what happens when our heroine does what we all think we'd do, and NOT fight the mating bond. (Psst, trouble, lots of trouble.) Spies, witches, magic knives, instabond but not instaperfect-life, pregnant cows, steamy and sweet love, hopeless redemption, and a whole lot of Collier and Westin = one heck of a ride.Julie's books just get better and better.You won't regret picking this one, and you'll likely finish it in one sitting, too. Enjoy!
