Minor quibble - 8 Books in One?!? - really 8 BOOKLETS in One. Otherwise - this is the first book you need if you are interested in getting into Wordpress. I've seen other books by Lisa Sabin-Wilson - all are well written and very comprehensive. I have only gotten through 400+ pages and have dozens of markers where I'll have to go back and re-read to apply to my own sites.Very highly recommended.
A very comprehensive and insightful book that helps allow anyone to get going. There is a ton of content. The book is organized such that the reader can focus on specific topics according to individual needs. I have a companion book that I use, Professional Wordpress. The two go well together.

This book has already saved me a few times with WordPress. The explanations are easy to understand and written for all levels, even a novice. WordPress was much bigger and robust than I first thought. I am really glad to have this book as a reference.
Excellent book that covers a lot of material to be used with WordPress.
Very comprehensive. Takes a bit of skipping around from one chapter to another, but overall pretty good. Seems to dwell on blogs more than web pages. But, I think that is the way Wordpress is.
