its truly for beginners to get start with south beach diet, there are two phases of meal plans and I'm following phase one and its going good, inside there are meat, vegetables, legumes, sauces and seasonings charts, easy recipes with healthy ingredients.

I have found that any diet I follow has to be one I can integrate into my day-to-day lifestyle and meal plans. I cook from this book for my family for dinner so I can have satisfying meals for my own weight loss and cook healthy for the rest of the family. This cookbook allows me to do as much of my own meal prep as I can, and that keeps us away from processed or fast foods. Lots of recipes included. Easy to follow, and it works!

South beach diet is an appropriate and ultimate guide book particularly for beginners. There is a good addition of delicious and healthy recipes, kick start meal plans too. I read this book thoroughly and find it perfect for my family and for me, do recommend to others too.

I have noticed that after I started following the south beach diet I have less frequent headaches and my stomach works better.

I like the fact that in this book there are recipes that contain different ingredients, such as citrus fruits, herbs, a lot of different vegetables. Such recipes have a positive effect on the health of the whole family and also contribute to weight loss. From a variety of recipes, I cooked Chicken with Lime Dressing. Amazing

All the recipes are easy and the plans are flexible. I don't eat shellfish but I was able to easily substitute a meal from a different meal plan to replace it. They have tips to make meals vegetarian but I don't think this book would be good for strict vegetarians/vegans or for families. It's perfect for a single person or a couple as everything is portioned for one person...

This diet seems to make sense and works if you follow it. The main idea is to change your eating and drinking habits long term. This a great cook book and I am on the South Beach Diet and have enjoyed the recipes I have tried so far, especially the 'quick and easy' recipes in this book.
